Half of Romania’s top 20 employers trust Edenred Benefit to motivate teams and attract talent. The platform adapts to the company’s needs, offering flexible benefits, discounts, cashback, and a complex HR Admin platform for managing timesheets, employees, insights and reporting.
Goal: Simplify and optimize the user experience for managing meal cards, buying and discovering benefits, and the HR Admin account.
The primary objective of the project was to create an intuitive and efficient experience tailored to the needs of users—employees, companies, and administrators—through a modern and user-friendly interface.

The first step was to deep-dive into research.
Users and segmentations:
Conducted in-depth analysis of users, including employees and HR representatives, to understand their diverse needs, problems and usage patterns.Identified current user problems and frustrations:
Discovered key issues such as unclear product taxation, complex navigation, and frequent user support queries regarding basic actions.Defining product objectives:
Brainstorming workshop with the Product team to gather all insights and define the main objectives as a clear actionable plan.Competitors research:
Benchmarked against competitors from Romania, and abroad, to identify areas for differentiation and best practices.

The next step was the Design and Prototyping phase, to come u[ with possible solutions to previously detected issues. I began with creating low-fidelity designs to quickly explore and present multiple ideas to the Product team. This allowed for rapid iteration and internal feedback in the early stages of design.
We conducted feasibility reviews with technical and operational members to ensure the designs were aligned with existing products and internal workflows.
Throughout the process, I ensured the designs adhered to key UX principles, such as progressive disclosure, error prevention, consistency, and providing users with clear help and documentation. This focus ensured a user-centered and practical approach to the project.

- Qualitative user testing:
We conducted structured user testing sessions to deeply understand how users interact with the prototype, focusing on uncovering friction points and validating proposed improvements. Each session was designed to observe real user behaviors and identify patterns that could inform design decisions, ensuring the product meets both user needs and expectations.
- Quantitative user testing:
To measure performance on specific tasks, we used Maze as our primary testing platform. The tasks included adding a new card, blocking and reissuing cards, for evaluating the usability of key flows within the platform. This approach allowed us to gather actionable data on task completion rates, time on task, and user errors. By analyzing these metrics, we identified areas requiring improvement, ensuring the platform delivers a seamless and efficient user experience.


The iteration phase focused on transforming the results into actionable design updates. By addressing feedback from testing sessions, we streamlined workflows, enhanced usability, and ensured seamless navigation. Collaboration across teams was key to aligning content, design, and technical execution, resulting in a cohesive and user-focused product experience.
